The brushless DC pump allows the fountain to shoot water up to 1.3 meters high at 250 litres per hour. The premium polycrystalline solar panels provide efficient energy conversion to keep the fountain running smoothly for up to 14 hours on a single, fully charged battery.

Replacing an Electric Pump?
Simply remove the stem of the solar pump, then plug in the tubing of your fountain.
Will This Water Pump Fit My Fountain?
As a simple guide, determine the below:
1. Outlet size: Needs to match the diameter of the fountain's tubing.
2. Max head: Aim for 30% or greater than the fountain's waterfall drop height.
3. Physical size: Note the dimensions to ensure it fits within the feature.
E.g. For a waterfall drop height of 1m, aim for a max head of at least 1.3m.
Water Pump CareThe pump must be fully submerged in water when in operation or damage will occur. Take care in adding extra water during warmer weather. Failure to follow proper care guidelines voids warranty.
Ensure you measure your fountain and read all the specs before ordering a pump. Regrettably, used pumps cannot be returned.

I bought a replacement solar pump as the one that came with my original purchase was giving up the ghost. I rinsed it out, checked for blockages etc and it just dribbled out the top. As I love my fountain I bought the replacementl pump. I am not sure whether the original pump sensed that it was about to be replaced but it has certainly lifted its game and is back functioning how it should. So while part of me feels that I have wasted my money - the other part is just pleased that the fountain is working as it should. I will just see if I can find another use for the replacement pump I have bought.

Great little fountain - more spray than I expected. Cloudy days cause some start/stop even with battery backup so the panel might not be as efficient as some. Keeps some aeration for the fish however so I'm pleased with the purchase and the shopping experience was simple with prompt delivery.

I absolutely love my little bird fountain. The solar panel with battery works very well, and in sunny Queensland, flows most of the time with a happy tinkering sound. It IS quite short, so double check the height before you buy one for your space. We mounted ours on a stump in my herb garden so that it would be clearly visible above the surrounding herbs. I had never put together a fountain before, and found the assembly really easy. Visitors to our garden have all commented on the pretty little fountain. It really is a gorgeous centrepiece.

It’s more than just a Daytime Solar pump, as the light starts to disappear and turns to dusk the Battery pack turns the fountain lights on and it’s almost like fire gazing.
But more than that it becomes so relaxing with both the sounds of the and the reflection of the water all powered by the pump and Battery pack.
Mind you I think the drink I had also contributed to the relaxing mood, I might take some music out with next time as well.

Early days yet (battery is not even fully charged yet) but it was easy to set up (I’m not usually very good with things like that)
The solar panel is a lot bigger than I expected but that’s my fault for not reading the description properly as the measurements are clearly stated
The only “issue” is that I agree with another review where it mentions about the on/off switch being on the back of the solar panel - it’s not ideal if you want to place the panel up where it can receive maximum sunlight so would be better placed elsewhere (not sure if that’s even possible though)

Instructions on on/off switch were vague (not your fault) but figured it out as it is not a conventional on/off switch. Since I have the solar panel mounted high it is a pain to climb a chair to turn it on/off. Would have preferred a switch somewhere else than on solar panels (like on the electrical line connecting panels and pump)
