Replacing an Electric Pump?

Simply remove the stem of the solar pump, then plug in the tubing of your fountain.

Will This Water Pump Fit My Fountain?

As a simple guide, determine the below:

1. Outlet size: Needs to match the diameter of the fountain's tubing.

2. Max head: Aim for 30% or greater than the fountain's waterfall drop height.

3. Physical size: Note the dimensions to ensure it fits within the feature.

E.g. For a waterfall drop height of 1m, aim for a max head of at least 1.3m.

For more info, read How to Choose a Pump for Your Fountain.

Water Pump Care

The pump must be fully submerged in water when in operation or damage will occur. Take care in adding extra water during warmer weather. Failure to follow proper care guidelines voids warranty.
Ensure you measure your fountain and read all the specs before ordering a pump. Regrettably, used pumps cannot be returned.

Customer video review of Solar Powered Fountain Pump w/ Battery - 250LPH

Hello, I bought this for a project. Works exactly as it should, very powerful unlike the cheapo ones I wasted money on. More to add including a glass, but works great 👍

Customer photo review of Solar Powered Fountain Pump w/ Battery - 250LPH

I brought this Solar water pump with battery and lights and and to say I am impressed would be an understatement. I am in Townsville and it’s winter here but we had one of many days where the Temperature was 29c while I was doing the garden. I sat went and sat down by the fountain and could hear the water running and within a min or so was asleep the I dropped the phone and my coke and was in dreamland that’s how relaxed it made me. So yes I love it and have another fountain in the Atrium.

Customer video review of Solar Powered Fountain Pump w/ Battery - 250LPH

Love the product. Came without instruction book. Seems to turn off on a timer basis and still trying to work out if timed or just doesn't have the battery capacity even with daylight solar charging. On solar option only runs when suns out which sort of makes sense. On battery runs until timed out? or when battery voltage gets low and no solar charging?

Solar Powered Fountain Pump w/ Battery - 250LPH

Store owner replied: Hi John, thanks for your review. You need to fully charge the battery before the first use. The battery lasts for 4 hours. Apologies you didn't get the manual. We have sent you the manual in electronic format. Please check your email.

This pump is a cheap Chinese POS! I regret purchasing it. I think I could piss stronger than this thing! I've had fish tank pumps bigger than this. The main reason I purchased it was that I was purchasing from a specialized fountain/pond supplier and that it was solar powered with a battery back-up, plus an LED light. I would have assumed that it works on solar power during the day, as well as charging the battery, then at night it switches to the battery back-up. Unfortunately the battery back-up does NOT work. It only works in either Solar mode or Battery mode, but not both. Also, the LED light does NOT work at all. I regret this purchase and wish to return it for a full credit. I should have just purchased one from Bunnings!!

Solar Powered Fountain Pump w/ Battery - 250LPH

Store owner replied: Hi Richard, we have a range of solar pumps that cater to various water lift heights. It seems the fountain you have requires a more powerful pump. We have sent a follow up email. Please get back to us regarding this as well as the LED. Regarding the 2 modes, that is correct. This pump has 2 seperate modes. We have other pumps that automatically switches to battery power.

This fountain is a bit more powerful than we were hoping for and actually sprays over the side of the pot we placed it in. I also can't figure out how to turn it down, or how to get the LED light to work.

Solar Powered Fountain Pump w/ Battery - 250LPH

It was not apparent at the point of ordering this item that it would run for only 4 hours, rather than as long as the sun shines on it. I suggest being more specific on the website
